April 2024 - Huntly Street, Inverness
ACTT are pleased to be appointed by the Sweeney Group to prepare a Travel Plan and Construction Traffic Management Plan for their proposal to convert a former meeting hall into a small hotel, adjacent to Inverness City Centre.
There was no initial Transport Assessment, so we prepared these documents from scratch, within a period of around 2 weeks, to meet the Council's time limits to resolve planning conditions, and the clients' time scales for lease renewal etc.

April 2024 - West Park, Blairgowrie
Persimmon North Scotland appointed ACTT to prepara a Transportation Statement for their proposal for residential development on Phase 3 of the West Park proposals at Blairgowrie.
This continued ACTT's involvement in this area since 2013, when we were first engaged by the West Park Partnership to undertake a Transportation Assessment for the whole masterplan area. This involved liaison with the Council and their transport consultants, to test the proposals in the Councils area-wide Paramics traffic model. That exercise also examined access to all of the sites for vehicles and non-motorised users.
The current exercise on behalf of Persimmon compares the current proposals with those assumed in the masterplan, and demonstrates that all of those previous assumptions remain valid.

February 2024 - Dollar
Dollar Academy were part of a group who had applied for planning permission for a major development, allocated in the Local Development Plan, to the south of Dollar. The application included a Transportation Assessment prepared by others. At the same tme, a second application, for development to the east of Dollar, had been submitted with a separate Transportation Assessment, and was under consideration.
ACTT were appointed by the Academy to review the proposals and both Transportation Assessments, and the transport infrastructure proposals they had put forward, alongside the requirements of the LDP, and agree suitable proposals to mitigate the development impacts. We were then asked to assist in reaching agreement on the apportionment of those proposals, and their associated costs, taking account of the relative impacts of each development at each location.
Working with both developers and their appointed consultants, and the appropriate officials in the Council, we were able to reach agreement on costs to be incorporated into Section 75 agreements for both developments.
